If I have to fight people to get a lounge chair, I’m not going on that cruise.

What happened to good common sense?

I just bring a travel size bottle of hand sanitizer and use it after getting the food at the buffet. I am very leery of any mayonnaise or dishes made with mayonnaise that are sitting out very long.

I have a shy kidney and forgot stool stimulant. After 5 days, even though the food was great.. I felt so bloated I couldn't eat a bite

After 7 cruises, I'm still wondering why children are in the hot tubs. Hot tubs are for grown people. And I agree with not talking about certain subjects with strangers. But if you are having a convo with you spouse or friend, others need to mind their own business.

Those tips are always great. I cruise with my service dog. Do you have any tips? I think I might know everything I need to know when I cruise with my dog, but it never hurts to ask. Also, if anybody has questions regarding service dog on the ship, I would gladly answer

Can you take playing cards or dominos(not the food but the game) on Royal Caribbean? We have never cruised with them and several of us are going to Alaska. We would like to play UNO or something like that and have fun but wasn't sure that we could bring those on the ship.

I travel with Viking a lot and love that there are no formal nights. One can wear shorts at the buffet, but in specialty restaurants, we wear smart casual ones. The men have to wear slacks and a button-up shirt. Oh, the special restaurant are free.

Goggle Wine Cocktails, there are so many you can make on a cruise ship. Honestly, a Merlot, and a coke make an easy quick Italian Sangria if you can't find juice and fruit, same with a Spirt..

I don't lay out so I don't care about chairs by the pool.But if I wanted one and the only thing there was a towel I would just move it.

Its one of the main reasons why im not stepping foot on a cruise again.

I use the door lock every time I travel solo. It just gives me piece of mind. I actually travel with two, in case I get a connecting room in a hotel.

I ordered a Uber the day before to go from my house to the airport early in the morning @ 3:30am. The only vehicle that was available was a compact; when the vehicle arrived and the driver saw that my travel companion and I had 4 pieces of luggage- they refused us. I was heated by that and had to reschedule another Uber; which I ended up paying a higher rate.

I bought the insurance listed with my cabin room. Is that enough or do I need more?

Just got back from a two week land tour and Danube river cruise. The most important things I used and needed was two good pairs of walking shoes, a raincoat and umbrella. One pair of shoes got drenched.

I would never leave a hotel room or cruise cabin in pajamas, thats nasty. Swimwear also doesnt belong in a dining room, nor do hats. Its simply good manners.

I’m sorry I’m not going to inconvenience myself or my wife because someone “saved” a chair. What are they gonna do it we sit there, call the pool police or us or the sun chair sheriff. They can kiss my whole ass I’m on vacation and paid money just like them.

I'm about to go on a Princess Cruise, and we specifically chose one that had plenty of gluten free options, since a little over half of my family have either Celiacs or a rather bad gluten intolerance Fingers crossed it all goes well!

The coffe on my cruise (I have only bern onmone) was not good... but harsh, not watery. It took a LOT of cream and sugar to make it drinkable

I always order 2 appetizers 1 main course, and 2 desserts. If my husband and I want any thing extra as a main course we get one to share. We usually want the same foods.

Those people that go to great lengths to sneak alcohol, my goodness! Don’t be so cheap people 😂 Is there a spot on Royal Caribbean’s site where we can find the list of prohibited items? Can we bring bottled water in our suitcase? I need water at night and don’t want to have to go and get water from the buffet before going to bed at night. Nor do I want to pay a premium for bottled water if I can avoid it😬

Look at ALL the reserved chairs in your videos! We always have a hard time finding chairs. I usually go up a deck or 2 and get in the shade somewhere. This is a hot topic on ships.

Sneaking alcohol is soooooo high school

RC has a 30 minute policy, I just point out some that have been vacant for a while and they mark them, 30 minutes later they gather belongings off the chair!

The pool attendant said we could take a couple chairs that had cruise towels sitting on them to "reserve" the chairs for an hour or so so we took the chairs. Another hour later, one of the guys came back and was mad we were in chairs. They had reserved 10, and then ended up getting 2 more on the other side of their group of chairs, and we had 4, so they lost 2, which btw never did they use all the chairs the whole sea day. They started yelling at us and said thise have been there chairs all week so they are obviously their chairs. They started to get aggressive, so I got security. It was rediculous! We smoothed it over a couoke hours later and they were fine with us then. But it is REALLY annoying when people save so many chairs at dawn and then think they can come a couple hours later and expect to be able to have them. Part of the problem is that more people want shade then is available. I love the sun, but have to avoid it for medical reasons, so shade is a must. I feel that the ships could cover some of the sunny areas and make more shade then more people would be happy. Still leaving sunny areas too. But it seems like itnis 1bin 10 are shady if that.

I usually get up early and get a chair for my wife and myself. I like to read in the morning. I might get up for a few minutes here and there to get coffee or to the restroom and she gets up an hour or so later and joins me. We both usually are there most of the day except for lunch. It is sickening to see people come down and get the very best chairs at the same time and sometimes never use them picking up their towels hours later like they might have thought about using them and changed their minds. Really love the people who use one towel to save two chairs at a time. There would always be plenty of chairs if people just used them when they really needed them. Not worth starting a fight over...
